South Texas Tack Rawhide Flat Bottom Tapaderos 2 inch S-21 made of rawhide covering with lacing and brown leather. Widely used by cowboys in the southwest to protect the rider's boots from mesquite and heavy brush. Keeps feet warmer in northern climates and prevents feet from getting caught in stirrups, particularly on children's saddles. Handmade in Texas.
