The outer layer is ¾ inches and the under layer is ¼ inch. It is the bottom layer that pulls heat and moisture. This pad also has gel pads that absorb shock and run the full length of the pad. This is a contoured roper saddle pad with wear leathers and a reinforced wither cutout. Made in the USA.
